TADPOLES: The Big Little Migration
Four years ago Maxwel Hohn began filming tadpoles in a small lake on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. What he saw had a profound impact, so much so that he returned again and again, each year capturing as much of the incredible wildlife event as possible. With a wealth of footage and an amazing migration story to tell, Maxwel partnered with storytellers Steve Woods, and Russell Clark and produced this mini nature documentary. The epic story of these little creatures has captured the hearts of people, and will hopefully go some way to protecting the threatened western toad species.

Call Of The Coastal Wolves
This wildlife mini documentary follows the daily life of one wolf pack as they fight to survive along the wild west coast of Canada. Some of the most secluded beaches of British Columbia are home to a unique wolf species that has evolved to gather their sustenance from both land and sea. Call of the Coastal Wolves follows a group of filmmakers over a two week expedition as they endeavour to film the elusive wolf. This short film asks us to reflect on our impacts to the natural world as we witness these compassionate, loving animals that deserve more attention and respect.

FIFTEEN
As the only sanctioned event to determine the record-holder for most ascents of the Grouse Grind in a one-day period, participants gather annually on the summer solstice for The Multi-Grouse Grind Challenge, testing their mental and physical limits over a 19-hour period. FIFTEEN tells the inspiring story of one of those participants, Jenn Golinski, as she takes on the challenge with the help of her support crew.

• Hummingbird Monitoring Program
In 2005, Grouse Mountain started our Hummingbird Monitoring Project in association with the Hummingbird Monitoring Network of North America – a project designed to establish a long term observation of hummingbird migration routes and population levels in Western North America.

• Extremely Wild
Tells the story of Grouse Mountain’s resident grizzly bears, Grinder and Coola, who were orphaned as cubs in 2001 and eventually found their home on the mountain. The film also explores the establishment of the Grouse Mountain Refuge for endangered wildlife and its impact on conservation efforts.
