Media Overview

As Vancouver's number one four-season attraction, Grouse Mountain can generate a roster of unique and dynamic leads for you. From our diverse and distinctive cultural history to our world-class events to our multi-season activities for all, Grouse Mountain has an abundance of local and international interest stories to share. 

Grouse Mountain is happy to accommodate media requests to the best of our ability. Our media relationships are an important part of our business and we do our best to fulfill all relevant requests. Due to the high volume of media inquiries we receive, we have compiled this list of guidelines to help you get the information you need.

Media Policy
In order to receive complimentary access to the Mountain, you must be a working member of the media, have your valid media accreditation with you, and explicitly state the purpose, timeline and intended result of your visit.

As we require all media to be escorted by a member of the Grouse Mountain team, please give us at least 24 hours advance notice before planning a visit to the Mountain.

In the case of an immediate news story, please contact our Communications Manager to ensure we have the appropriate person available to answer your questions. In this situation, call Madelaine Twomey at 604.998.4255.

Media Releases
Disseminated media releases are posted on our website for public access. If you are having difficulty finding a specific release, please fill out our Media Kit Request Form and we can send you the information you are seeking.

Photos
Grouse Mountain has a large selection of images available for download in high resolution jpeg or TIFF format. Please email your image requests to [email protected].

B-Roll
Grouse Mountain has a full catalog of b-roll footage.  Please send an email to [email protected] with your request.

Drones 
For the safety of our guests and members of the public, as well as helicopter and paragliding operations, the use of drones, for any reason, is prohibited on or over Grouse Mountain Resort property. Commercial drone use is also prohibited on Grouse Mountain Resort property, except in limited circumstances with advance approval, a fully licensed operator and insurance. Live Streaming
In addition to public broadcasting, live streaming on Grouse Mountain Resort property requires advance approval. Please contact [email protected] at least 24 hours in advance of your visit to Grouse Mountain to submit your request for approval.
