(North Vancouver) Spring has sprung at the Peak of Vancouver and to celebrate the final weekend of the 2013/14 snow season, Grouse Mountain is pleased to welcome the first 1,000 skiers and snowboarders to hit the slopes for free this Saturday, April 26th and Sunday, April 27th.
As the only North Shore mountain still open for spring skiing and riding, Grouse Mountain’s good spring ski conditions are the perfect opportunity for skiers and riders to bid farewell to the snow season during this weekend’s festivities which will also feature an outdoor barbecue.
“We are thrilled to welcome skiers and snowboarders to Grouse Mountain as we celebrate our final weekend of the 2013/14 snow season,” said Grouse Mountain general manager Michael Cameron. “We couldn’t think of a better way to say goodbye to winter than by inviting our first 1,000 visitors to the Peak of Vancouver to ski or ride for free.”
As the 2013/14 snow season winds down, this weekend also marks the final opportunity to purchase a 2014/15 Y2Play Pass which provides passholders with up to 80 percent off regular pass pricing.
