Grouse Mountain Opening Limited Terrain for Skiing and Riding on Friday

Paradise and Paradise Jib Park will be open with access via the Greenway Chair from 2pm to 9pm on Friday, and 9am to 9pm beginning on Saturday. Tickets are on sale now, and skiing and riding will be available at a reduced rate until more terrain is open. 

“Thanks to Mother Nature and the hard work of our snowmaking team, we’re ready to kick off another great winter season at the Peak of Vancouver,” said Grouse Mountain’s Director, Mountain Operations Grant Wahl. “We’re excited to welcome skiers and riders back and we’ll be working to open up additional terrain as soon as possible.” 

Snow lovers rejoice as it’s not just skiing and riding on offer at Grouse Mountain which has officially transformed into Vancouver’s North Pole. Celebrate the holidays at the Peak of Christmas on now until December 25th complete with Santa and his real reindeer, brilliant light installations, roving entertainment and Christmas movies in the Theatre in the Sky. 

Guests can also escape into the serene beauty of a natural winter playground on the Grouse Mountain snowshoe trails. Already open for the season are Blue Grouse Lake Loop, and the Snowshoe Grind to Snag Tree, with updates to be provided as more trails open. 

Also on offer this holiday season is a free shuttle offering trips from Lonsdale Quay with seating provided on a first come, first served basis. Starting the weekend of December 16th and 17th, and then running daily from December 23rd, 2023 to January 7, 2024.
