In its 10th year, Grouse Mountain’s Y2Play pass continues to be the best snow pass on the continent and has contributed to the Peak of Vancouver boasting over 1,000,000 visitors in the past decade. This year, the pass sold out faster than ever, making this the largest Y2Play in history.

“We are incredibly proud of our Y2Play pass,” says Marketing Manager, Chris Dagenais. “For the past 4 months, we have seen the highest snow sport participation in Grouse Mountain history. The Y2Play campaign is accomplishing its initial goal of making winter sports accessible to all.”

Y2Play passes entitle holders to enjoy unlimited skiing and boarding for the remainder of this winter season, until the end of the 2008/09 season, with a savings of up to 80% off the regular rate. On the heels of an epic season weather-wise, Y2Play pass holders can also access the mountain during the winter season to enjoy the many other mountaintop activities. These include skating on the outdoor skate pond, snowshoeing on the 10km of scenic trails, dining in one of the many peak venues, shopping, and the Theatre in the Sky.

In addition to the great value of Y2Play passes, the sustained children’s rate will secure the future of winter sports. The enormous success of this campaign has a positive impact on the snowsport industry as a whole, from retail outlets in Vancouver outfitting and gearing up participants to the labour market where numerous industry related jobs are provided. Grouse Mountain alone is the largest youth employer on the North Shore. The rates below showcase the exceptional Y2Play Pass opportunity. Y2Play 2008 Rates Full Winter Pass Savings
