(North Vancouver) Reconnect with your wild-side this summer as Grouse Mountain invites guests to go Into the Wild with special activities and learning experiences at the Peak of Vancouver. Located just minutes from the City but at the gateway to the wilderness of British Columbia, Grouse Mountain provides guests with an accessible opportunity to experience the beauty of nature.

“From Grizzly bears to Black-tailed deer, nature hikes to evening bonfires, Grouse Mountain boasts a wonderful wild-side that has never been more accessible” said Julia Grant, Grouse Mountain’s Communications Manager. “Our new slate of fun and informative mountaintop activities aims to provide guests with a taste of wilderness and help foster a greater appreciation for our British Columbian wild spaces and their inhabitants.”

Get up close with resident Grizzly bears, Grinder and Coola at their 5 acre mountaintop habitat or watch a falcon take flight at the stunning Birds in Motion Demonstration. Stroll over to the World Famous Lumberjack Show or take that stroll a little further on a Guided-Eco Walk.

New this summer take some time to learn about the Mountain's flora and fauna at the Into the Wild Interpretive Zone or capture its beauty by honing your photography skills at a guided photography session. Alpine Summer Hiking Clinics are a great way to learn how to safely enjoy backcountry hiking. Finish your day’s adventures at our new evening bonfire complete with live guitar music – make sure those vocal chords are warmed up and ready.
