Incinerate holiday calories with this fastest growing winter activity. If you can walk, you can snowshoe. With 4 different groomed snowshoe trails equating to about 10km of terrain, you’ll experience the most scenic workout on the North Shore.

“Snowshoeing is growing at an astounding rate,” says Eric Langhjelm, Adventure Guide. “It appeals to many different athletic abilities and just about everyone can pretty easily get out there and enjoy the sport within moments of strapping on a pair of shoes. Our snowshoe clinics and races enable first-timers to improve their skills and their fitness levels, and catapults others into snowshoe running machines. The cross training benefits of this sport appeal to runners, hikers, skiers and all outdoor enthusiasts.”

Start off the season by joining one of our Demonstration Sessions on Wednesday, January 2nd. With the Inaugural Grouse Mountain Yeti Snowshoe race on February 16th, and the Annual Grouse Mountain Snowshoe Classic on March 22nd, there are plenty of milestones to check your progress. For summertime Grinders looking for a winter season weekly event, hit one of Grouse Mountain's Wednesday Social Nights. Inspired by the enormously successful Grouse Grind Social Nights this past summer and fall, this drop in event gets started at 7pm and combines a killer workout with an equal amount of socializing. Head to Altitudes Bistro after for some post-session relaxation. Or, gather your own crew of at least 6 people and book your own Snowshoe Fondue Tour.

Clinics begin January 5th and run throughout the season. January 2nd Demonstration Night starts and 7pm for all ability levels.
