Grouse Mountain to open additional terrain Tuesday morning
The Cut to open tomorrow for 2014/15 winter season

(North Vancouver) With sunny bluebird conditions at the Peak of Vancouver, Grouse Mountain is pleased to announce that they will open The Cut run this Tuesday, December 2nd.
Following several days of steady snowmaking and snowfall, Grouse Mountain will open The Cut, a popular run and iconic Vancouver landmark during normal operating hours of 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, seven days a week. With the Environment Canada forecast calling for clear skies and cool temperatures in the coming days along with the North Shore’s largest snowmaking fleet in place at Grouse Mountain, additional terrain is slated to be opened in the near future.
“We are thrilled to welcome skiers and snowboarders to The Cut tomorrow morning,” said Grouse Mountain general manager Michael Cameron. “The cool temperatures and clear skies in the forecast for the coming week is excellent news for our snowmaking efforts and we can’t wait to open additional terrain very soon.”
Grouse Mountain’s 2014/15 winter season is poised to be an exciting one with new night terrain on Blazes (including new lighting), a brand-new race centre and one of western Canada’s most-renowned terrain parks among the highlights.
