Grouse Mountain to host Chinese New Year celebration this Saturday
Ring in the Year of the Sheep with family-friendly activities!

(North Vancouver) With Chinese New Year celebrations now underway throughout the lower mainland, Grouse Mountain is pleased to unveil plans for a special family-friendly Chinese New Year celebration this Saturday, February 21st.
Featuring an exciting lineup of activities for all ages including skating on Grouse Mountain’s 8,000-square foot ice skating pond, a sheep petting experience, crafts and complimentary family photos, the inaugural event will culminate with a spectacular sunset lantern release to honour loved ones and set intentions for the new year.
Access to Chinese New Year festivities is included with an Annual Local's Pass, Y2Play or Winter Season Pass. For non-passholders, Grouse Mountain will offer a special family rate of just $79.95 for up to eight family members.
“As we look ahead to an exciting 2015 at the Peak of Vancouver, we are pleased to welcome all to our first-ever Chinese New Year celebration,” said Grouse Mountain general manager Michael Cameron. “Grouse Mountain takes pride in offering a wide variety of events and activities throughout the year and we can’t wait to welcome our visitors to these very special festivities.”
