Grouse Mountain Debuts the Latest in Aerial Adventure
New Skyride Surf Adventure to Launch on Friday

(North Vancouver) As part of this year’s Summer of Flight, Grouse Mountain is thrilled to launch our brand new Skyride Surf Adventure. This unique experience allows guests to soar above the treetops and enjoy 360 degree views outside from a specially designed platform on the roof of the Skyride cabin as they ascend to the Peak of Vancouver.
“We are excited to invite guests to ‘surf’ atop the Grouse Mountain Skyride on their way to the Peak of Vancouver,” said Julia Grant, Grouse Mountain Communications Manager. “The incredible views and breathtaking heights offer a whole new way to experience our iconic Skyride.”
As part of the Skyride Surf Adventure, guests will learn about the inner workings of North America’s largest aerial tramway system. They will then embark on an open air journey up the Mountain standing on the roof of the Skyride cabin. As the only location to offer this unique experience in North America, it’s the perfect adventure for visitors and locals alike.
Beginning Friday the Skyride Surf Adventure will be available daily with morning tours starting as early as 8:00am with advance booking. Coming soon there will also be a downhill experience available to guests.
