Experience 24 Hours of Winter and Family Day at Grouse Mountain
Fun for everyone this long-weekend at the Peak of Vancouver

(North Vancouver) This BC Day long-weekend promises to be action packed as Grouse Mountain hosts its annual 24 Hours of Winter event taking place Saturday, February 11th through Sunday, February 12th as well as a variety of special activities in celebration of Family Day on Monday, February 13th.
What began in preparation for the NBC Olympic broadcast in February 2010, 24 Hours of Winter kicks off Saturday at 8:00 am and runs through 10:00 pm on Sunday with a variety of round-the-clock activities including all-night skiing, snowboarding and ice skating; sunset, midnight and sunrise snowshoe tours; a spectacular torch parade; junior pond hockey tournament; music; dining and much more.
“We’re excited to welcome guests for 24 Hours of Winter; a unique event celebrating all that is winter from sunset to sunrise.” said Grouse Mountain spokesperson Julia Grant. “The festivities continue this long-weekend with special Family Day activities providing a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy the outdoors together as they hit the slopes here at the Peak of Vancouver.”
Family Day features a range of activities suitable for all ages, including our Sliding Zone, skating on our mountaintop Skating Pond, sleigh rides, a pancake breakfast by donation in support of North Shore Rescue and of course skiing and riding.
As part of the BC Family ski promotion, BC residents can access the Mountain for 50 percent off lift tickets and general admission all day February 13th.
