Often referred to as the Peak of Vancouver, Grouse Mountain has also topped Business in Vancouver's rankings as the number one tourist destination in the lower mainland.
Welcoming more than 1,250,000 visitors in 2013, Grouse Mountain is British Columbia's finest four-season destination featuring a variety of experiences from the time you ascend the mountain on the world-famous Super Skyride (North America's largest aerial tram system), taking you on a breathtaking journey 3,700 feet above sea level.
Featuring unparalleled panoramic views of the city, sea and surrounding mountains and a summit altitude of 4,100 feet, Grouse Mountain offers a wide range of year-round outdoor and educational activities along with our five-star restaurant, The Observatory. With a long history dating back to Vancouver's earliest days, Grouse Mountain received its name in 1894 when a visiting hiking party encountered a blue grouse bird on the alpine slopes.
Grouse Mountain is also home to the 2014/15 Y2Play pass - the best value on a season snowpass, valid for the remainder of this season and all of next. Ski or ride just five times for the pass to pay for itself!
