Dear Educators,
It’s a new school year and Grouse Mountain is primed and ready with fieldtrip programming that is stimulating, easy to plan, and designed in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s provincially prescribed curriculums.
If you are looking to discover, or rediscover, Grouse Mountain, don’t miss our complimentary Professional Development Day Program. Join us for a fabulous overview of our programming, focused on the theme “Outdoor Classrooms”, and experience all that the Peak of Vancouver has to offer.
At Grouse Mountain we’re particularly excited about a few facets of our 2013/14 programs. First, our continued partnership with Artists for Conservation. We’re offering Adventures in Art and Environment (Grades 3-10) September 30-October 2, 2013. This program presents an inspiring and educational day of art, environmental education, and interactive workshops with world renowned artists, films and First Nations cultural learning.
We’re also pleased to announce new programming. The BC Resources curriculum features fresh content with a focus on the use of our natural resources in BC and the importance of conservation. We are also excited to introduce our new education ambassador, Cleo the Barn Owl.
In an effort to reduce the use of paper and support our Blue Grouse sustainability program, we are pleased to introduce our new e-brochure. Click the following link for descriptions of our exciting line-up of programs.
